It’s pretty obvious Hermanos never got a fair chance to lift off. Soon after starting the project, a lot of things happened all at once, resulting in no updates for over a year. Poor Roboticos, you neglected project you.

A marriage and a mortgage later, I’m cartooning again. Relaunching indywebcomics.com and leecherolis.com. We’ve got a comic anthology coming out and an art and music show to help launch the book. Indy Webcomics Group has never been more active, with record attendance at it’s last two meetups.

All of which makes it increasingly difficult to ignore Hermanos Roboticos any longer. Unfortunately for HR, once the comic anthology and art show are wrapped up, I’m already committed full time to a brand new comic project with fellow creator Ed Cho in the writer’s chair. Keep an eye on leecherolis.com for news regarding this new project.

The best I can promise for Hermanos Roboticos in the immediate future, is an occasional comic when I have a free lunch hour in which to draw a strip and an extra free hour or two to post it.

Hiatus now, not forever.

It was a frustrating two weeks but we were finally able to transfer all the old posts from our old databases to the new server. It’s a process that shouldn’t have taken as long as it did and would have ended up taking longer had I not had the assistance of a few very talented and knowledgeable friends.

Yup, there are normal people in this world. First the Dumb Scientist, now the Waitress. I do have the origin story of the brothers Roboticos drawn out. I’ve yet to decide how and when to post them.

The origin is a 12 page arch and each page is comicbook sized.
